Dublin is a very popular destination for both short and long breaks and there are a lot of attractions to choose from.

Dublin city centre is compact and many of the attractions of the city can be easily reached on foot. The town has two distinct parts – north and south – divided by the River Liffey. The north has many of the shopping areas and the south has the cultural attractions such as the museums.

There are several small shopping centres close by, including Powerscourt Townhouse and St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area which cater for those who need a break from retail therapy.

The Camden Street area has many small gift and craft shops, ideal for those who are looking to take home a few souvenirs. Close by is Georges Street, where shoppers will find an arcade filled with stalls that sell almost everything from vintage clothes to books. Those interested in antiques will appreciate the Christchurch district, home to many antique and gift shops.
